It makes me just a touch sad when one of the best shows on TV right now is being relegated to an online-only release, but given how that’s the best way to consume video these days anyway, I suppose it’s all for the best. I’m speaking of course about, The Last Airbender sequel series that Nickelodeon took down off the air and put online-only forsome reason or another.

Ratings were down, it doesn’t fit in with their programming, it went too dark, pick your reason. But whatever the case, season three was the best one so far. Now, even though season three (book three) just wrapped, book four (season four) is on its way in a week or so. Nick is pulling a Netflix and dumping all the episodes online at once. Binge release strategy or a way to get rid of the show all at once? Whatever the case, I’m not complaining about a batch of new Korra episodes. Ahead of the release, Nick is making the entire series free to stream online, however, and to catch up on what you’ve missed.
